Thoughts keep going...

Long story short, I keep forgetting I have this thing. I guess I'm a pretty bad "blogger"...
No worries though I'll definitely start keeping more note of whats going on these days.

So it's late at night and I should be writing that analysis essay but, of course, I'm on the internet. Which strikes a story about this article from the New York Times I read about how the youth spend more time socializing rather than reading and writing, Causes: Traditional values being thrown out the window, Schooling systems' failure to emphasize the importance of reading and writing. I guess and I'm a spitting image of the picture their painting. (Sad face). lol.  I think this is really important subject though, that should be dealt with a great concern. I myself went to a public school and rather than putting energy into reading and writing, all I did was party and socialize. Why is it that kids nowadays are spending time partying and using technology then reading a damn book?! I guess its just ironic to me because now I read so much more, and quite frankly, I enjoy it very much. It's pretty cool how that switch can just turn on for you. Random thoughts', I know.

Too much has happened to talk about since the last time I "blogged" (I'll stop doing that..)
So I guess I'll end with saying, "I'll write more thoughts down"

...and lets see if it happens.

and here's a reminder that you need a new friggin' camera! bahaha

Dear ...Will.I'mNOT

So I'm supposed to be researching for my Anthropology Project on Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis, or otherwise known as P.G.D., buuut I had a thought the other day that ran through my head that needs to be documented.

Are the Black Eyed Peas part of some huge joke, that when they hear people "tweeting" about & singing their songs, they laugh because they too, know that they're music is LAME. C'mon, they used to bring the hits- such as "Pump it" & "Where is the Love". Now they're obviously just finding little loop holes to stay in the music industry. Has anyone ever really listened to their 2 most recent albums? They contain decent beats, with horrible lyrics, and to top it all off even worse singing. The saddest song is "The Best One Yet". Lyrics that make me want to laugh at how stupid the music industry has gotten. "This moment is a moment I'll appreciate...Today is a day that...I will Remember..." ? Really Will. "I'm. NOT? I used to think you were cool. Some notes:

1. That doesn't even Rhyme
2. Fergie and Yourself couldn't sound any more robotized (like you didn't sing), Anyone can talk into a microphone.
3. What happened to the lyrics with some depth, and purpose.
4. I've noticed when you perform these songs, they bring the inner stripper out of you (dead eyes and lousy performances)

Not to sound harsh or anything... but just bring it harder or do something else with your life.

T.G.U : 1) I obviously think that Black Eyed Peas have lost something - talent or should I dare say it, their souls?? I think that's a T.T.S.G.U .... (thought that should go unheard.) But I'll let somebody else be the judge of that.

P.S. Everyone's got they're bad days :(

Late Night Epiphanies

Alright, lets get down to the Nitty gritty, right off the bat, BOOM: Is it bad that I'm starting to think that Twitter is actually cool? I mean me of all people would be the first to call somebody out and tell them they were failing at life for even mentioning twitter, let alone having one. Today however, the "Twitter Gods" had shot me with an wind of acceptance of this thing I once thought of as fowl, and as useless as any other social networking sites. As I scrolled through more and more recommended Twitterons I realized that twitter is a great source for news, thoughts, and a quick way to get a laugh. I mean everyone has an opinion nowadays (which me starting this blog can serve as proof of that statement) and Twitter is a great way to find a current event happening in the world and Tweet your opinions on it, in 140 words or less of course. It almost plays hand in hand with a blog in the sense. Hmm I don't know, I guess I'm just really over Facebook.

Another thought, I don't think its cool how elementary and secondary schools don't possess proper water for the children instead of having them drink unhealthy juices with lots of sugar. UH HELLO?! There is a reason why 3 out of the 5 children I see in my neighborhood are obese. Schools should really be implementing a water program to teach kids that water is THE best choice for a drink, over sodas. Some schools aren't even letting kids bring their own damn lunches to school! That is absolutely outrageous! I would probably feel like I'm getting punked. Seriously? What are those schools trying to do? Leave a void of lunch fees that the parents are going to deal with? and another thing, the foods that they have in school cafeterias are nastier then two day old leftovers from Denny's, they're disgusting. I don't even have a child, and the thought of having my kid resort to eating cafeteria food ALL week is appalling. Why does capitalism result in an obese population suffering from diabetes?? okay, okay, I'm partially so passionate I guess because I too, fell into all the wonderful foods America had to offer. I'm coming from a boy that considered McDonald's Big Mac a good friend while growing up, and jumped in excitement over Chile cheese french fries and  Chicken Strips. But the other part of me is so passionate is because food is amazing. There's no reason for our nation to be eating this run down, processed waste.

T.G.U. For Tonight : (1) Twitter is cool now? lol!  (2) America's Diet for the young are Fattening, so I think it would be fair if the young had a choice whether or not they want to look like this boy.

P.S
-Here's Me when I was younger... BAHAHAHAHAHA! NOT! but proof as to why obesity should gain some concern.

Gloria...

Thanks for Joining me!

Let me start off by saying that I am obviously a virgin to the blog world. So I guess this is my coming out, per-say, or my deflowering? Whatever floats your boat. My name is Jeff Kim and I was recently looking for an outlet for all the thoughts that run through my mind that are left unheard. So lets start off with a story about my Wednesday afternoon of May 4th. Starts off as any normal day would begin; wake up, shower, down a quick bowl of Cheerios and out the door for my 9:30 Speech Class. I walk into class only to find 2 other classmates and Gloria...
For those of you who have ever thought that you had the most annoying  classmate, you are sadly mistaken!!!

Meet Gloria, definitely a 55+ year old woman, who looks like she needs more protein in her diet. I swear, this woman can talk you away even if you aren't reciprocating the social contact. All the early birds nab the seats in the back furthest away from Gloria, in fear that she'll talk our ears off. Even though she purists with her never ending cluster of speech. So my punishment for arriving at class 10 minutes early at 9:20 is obviously to listen to this woman yap about whats going on in her life. Within that 10 minutes she rambled through the topics of manic depressive disorders, whether or not she had cancer from standing next to her microwave, and how she got into a court case ordeal with her physician, because he had recommended she get a pap smear. Sexual harassment Gloria?! I don't think so... You are in that period of your life when these things are mandatory for optimum living. Miss "failed to join the military cause they didn't want her" Gloria, I try an understand where you come from- seeing that's so easy to do since our one and a half hour class session is basically your mode of therapy. I feel for you. Having suffered a major car accident (Hit by a car and getting t-boned), which lead to her losing custody of her kids would not be an easy life, let me tell you. I really do think that she has some mental issues-maybe from the car accident- ,but who's to say that?

Anyways, I had a panel discussion that afternoon about tax reforms for American Citizens that go to the aid of others in need. Don't get me wrong, these aid programs (such as the WIC Program for Pregnant Teens, Financial Aid, and Immigration) serve a great purpose. They've been implemented into our society to help keep the flow balanced. You should know as well as me that America is in the middle of a Class War; where capitalism is only leading to a bigger gap between classes. With the deficit between Upper Class and Lower Class growing exponentially, where does that leave the Middle Class? During the discussion, I argued against these reforms, which was a little difficult to do because I know these programs are essential to many. So I stood by the argument that there is too many people defrauding the system, working through worm holes, to earn free money. You and I both know more than a handful of peers who have cheated the Financial Aid programs, claiming to be an independent, when in actuality their living free of rent in the parents home with their brand new Infinity Coup parked right out front. The reality is, America is a society based on Cheating.

Well, I think that's enough for today.
Thanks for Listening and if you have the same thoughts, Let them be heard!

So the thoughts gone unheard for today: (1) New Blog! (2) Class with Gloria = Not Fun! (3) Living in a world full of Cheaters only leads to more cheaters

P.S Here is what Gloria would kinda look like if she wore a little make up, cheesing shirts, and had orange hair... I guess this isn't a clear depiction of Gloria at all.... O well. This lady is U.G.L.Y. ugly. The kinda ugly that makes me want to run away, but smile and wonder just to what goes through her mind.
